Plastic Makes It Possible – Polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG)

This week, we are gonna to talk about Polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG), a.k.a 【聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯】.

 

#PETG is actually very different from #PET, in fact, PETG is always been compared with #PMMA and #PC , due to its superior unique properties.

 

PETG is a strong, impact resistant material with a transparent and glass-like aesthetic. This makes it a very suitable material for high end cosmetic container packaging.

 

PETG material is also widely used in food and beverage packaging, like reusable water bottle, food container, baby feeding bottle and etc. PETG is FDA approved material and it is BPA free.
