So far we had go through a few transparent & glass-like aesthetic plastic material, like

 

#PETG

mostly used in food packaging (tumblers and food containers) due to BPA free as well as cosmetic container packaging, etc

 

#PMMA

mostly used in outdoor signage and displays due to its superior weathering resistance, shatterproof and scratch resistance.

 

And today we would like to introduce another widely used transparent plastic material #Polycarbonate (#PC), a.k.a 【聚碳酸酯】

 

Its biggest advantages are superior toughness and heat stability.

Hence, it is widely used in green building material, automotive and consumer products like sunglasses.
