Toling Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of Lean Giap Group of Companies and a joint venture company with Itochu Corporation in 1991. The collaborative partnership was formed with the core emphasis on fulfilling its customers’ plastics needs, proven by its continuous innovations to improve the organisation’s trading platform and adoption of industry best practices.

To provide a seamless user experience to partners and customers alike, every aspect of the value chain within the organisation are constantly enhanced. The integration of information management ensures timely and accurate management of physical materials towards warehousing, inventory, transportation and security. This ensures the sustainability of the business in facing the constant changes in the global environment.

Since 1991, Toling Corporation has served more than 1,000 customers from different industrial backgrounds. In commodity plastics trading, it provides various grade of polyolefin for injection, extrusion, blow moulding and blow film process. As for engineering plastics, they have been working closely with clienteles from various industries ranging from medical, automotive, E&E and industrial products.

1966

Datuk Teoh Chew Peng graduated in NTU Singapore and returned to his hometown in Alor Setar. Then, he joined his family business and started his career as a businessman. Datuk Teoh Chew Peng started his business as a plastic supplier and set up Toling Corporation as a subsidiary of Lean Giap Group of Companies and joint venture with Itochu Corporation.

1991

Toling Corporation successfully bid to become the sole plastics supplier of Lotte Chemical Titan Sdn Bhd in Malaysia and became a well-known plastics supplier, with offices and warehouses covering Penang, Port Klang and Johor Bahru in Malaysia.

2010

Toling Corporation continued to expand its supply sources in order to become a more comprehensive one-stop plastics supplier solution to its beloved customers. To date, Toling Corporation is one of the leading plastics supplier for both commodity and engineering plastics for more than 15 well-established plastic resin makers.

2017

Toling Corporation continues to expand its plastics supplying business together with more than 1,000 customers in SEA and was ranked as one of the best commodity and engineering plastics supplier in Malaysia

2018

Plasticpedia, an interactive plastic-related knowledge sharing website which was launched by Toling Corporation, together with the Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, dynamically delivering the right and updated information to the public and industry manufacturer.

2019

It was a great successful year that celebrated by Toling Corporation on the set up of In.Tech Conference whereby our customers and other stakeholders are invited to upskill the knowledge & market insight and able to connect closer with each other. In.Tech Conference 2019 with the theme “Sustainability” eventually gathered 227 participants out of 103 companies.

2020

Think Plastic, Think Circularity is one of the initiatives of Toling Corporation to promote Plastic Circularity. Our headquarter, Wisma Giap Chew, was awarded Penang Green Office Certification and met the assessment requirements of Penang Green Council. Our Sustainability team is committed to keep improving the working place to be more sustainable and comfortable for the employees.
