PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide)

PPS is a semi-crystalline enigneering polymer with a high crystalline melting point of about 285°C. PPS is a polymer made up of alternating sulfur atoms and phenyl rings, hence this molecular structure allow itself to be packed unto a very thermally stable crystalline lattice. The highly stable chemical bonds of the molecular structure impart a remarkable degree of molecular stability towards thermal degradation and chemical reactivity.

Application: Under-the-hood in the automotive (includes fuel injection systems, coolant systems, thermostat holder and etc), bulb housing, connectors, hard disk drives, bulb sockets, motor housings, exhaust gas return valve, carburetor parts, ignition plates, water circulation pump component, sterillisable medical dental and laboratory equipment, hair dryer grills components and etc.
